Audio Book Just As I Am: The Autobiography of Billy Graham with Free PDF EDITION!

The first chapters of Graham's book are a picture of farm and Depression-era life that you may recall hearing about from your (great) grandparents. Graham's adventurous spirit (and that of his generation) comes through clearly: trading pantyhose for hotel rooms in postwar Europe is one memorable anecdote. As he builds his ministry, the sheer volume of work and travel he accomplishes is impressive. The interaction with US presidents at key moments in history is also very impressive, as is his stance on keeping out of political endorsements as much as he can. I've heard a preacher say Graham is "the closest thing we [Protestants] have to a Pope" and reading this it's easy to understand why. As a Christian and person who enjoys reading about US history, I thought this was a great book. If I had to give the book a criticism, it would be that crediting a bunch of people for helping out at specific events adds a lot of length. This book takes some time to get through. But at the same time this is a hard criticism to make, since this is his biography and Mr. Graham is trying to show the team effort as much as possible.
